what is jazzy’s place?
the gaming room at brooklyn.
Still a part of brooklyn but providing offerings such as billiards, darts, stationary chess/checkers tables, shuffleboard, wide screen TVs for sporting events and yet another place to enjoy adult beverages as well as a fabulous covered courtyard.  Jazzy's place complements brooklyn and its jazz format by providing alternative music such as blues, old school, neo soul and reggae, among others.

what times does the shows begin?
we are open Tuesday thru Sunday nights for lunch, dinner, drinks and Sunday Brunch. Show times vary in their start time, but most shows begin at 7:00pm or 8:00pm. Please review our "musical calendar" for specific show times.

does brooklyn have a dress code?
yes we do, "tastefully casual" is suggested at all times and is strictly enforced. Clothing must be neat and presentable. We DO NOT encourage our guests to wear (long or white) t-shirts, hoodies, athletic attire, headgear, sneakers/tennis shoes, non-dress shorts, sweat suits or jogging suits, ripped, torn or frayed clothing, baseball caps or baggy jeans/pants. We also recommend that our female guest dress with cool, sophistication, confidence, a little funk and a lot of style.

do I need reservations for dinner?
Yes, reservations are accepted for parties of eight (8) or more. Those customers interested in being seated at a table for drinks and music only will be seated on a first come first serve basis.

reservations/cover charge/seating?
We take reservations for parties of eight (8) or more. If no reservations are made, seating is on a first come, first served basis. All of our seating is cabaret style; which means you maybe seated at a table with other guests. There is no general admission cost before 7:00pm or cost to make a reservation, however there is a $30.00 per person (Food and Beverage) minimum spend for Friday and Saturday nights and special events in the main dinning area (in view of the band) and $20.00 per person minimum spend in all other dining areas, which include the Patio and Courtyard.

does brooklyn have a cover charge?
There is a $5.00 Entertainment Fee after 7:00pm.

It’s very important to include the number of guest you expect, the date and time of arrival and where you would like to be seated. There is a $30.00 per person (Food and Beverage) table minimum in the main dinning area (in view of the band) and $20.00 per person table minimum in all other dining areas. We accept reservation for 8:00pm or earlier and again at 10:00pm. On all high volume nights (Friday and Saturday), tables typically carry a two-hour seating limit.

We accept reservation for 8:00pm or earlier and again at 10:00pm. On high volume nights (Friday and Saturday) promptness on behalf of our guest is very important. Reservations will be kept for 15 minutes past your reservation time; at that point your reservation will be forfeited.

table seating/2 hours maximum
On all high volume nights (Friday and Saturday), tables typically carry a two-hour seating limit. After two hours a table may be asked to move to another area of the venue to continue their night so as to accommodate additional reservations for dining guests. Seating is not guaranteed in the bar, patio or other dinning areas in such an instance. This situation is a rarity, but does happen on occasion during high volume nights. brooklyn Jazz Cafe will do its best in planning accordingly so that these instances are kept a rarity.

what type of food and drinks do you offer?
we are a full-scale restaurant. Our menu is American Continental. We also have five (5) full bars with all premier liquors, domestic and international beers. For your review, our menu is available on-line on "our menu" page.

is smoking permitted at brooklyn?
no, there is no smoking allowed inside the venue, however smoking is permitted outside on the patio, in the courtyard or in jazzy’s place.

where can I park?
Self parking is available in our secure and private lot directly across the street from the venue; you may also park in designated areas near the café. It’s very important to comply with all posted parking signs in the area. We also offer Valet Parking.

do I need to be 21 to come to brooklyn?
brooklyn is open to all ages, however you must be 21 to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages or sit at the bar. You do not have to be 21 to have lunch or brunch at brooklyn. We encourage parents to bring their children/young adults to experience dining and the music at brooklyn.
